Heres some images on the idea of the dispersing shapes idea. I dont think we should use it all the time, but there are some big actions where this technique could be incorperated.
Yep motion blurr gos without saying, for the ink effect I was thinking in could happen on the actual strike along with the motion blur and stretch frames happening. So they'd have thir normal streching motion blurr frames then at the end of the punch/kick or even during we animate with the line art aswell, like the ink line itself shudders and flings bout like a secondary motion...It's kinda hard to explian, when I get the parts for my light box I'll com up with an example of what I mean.
