Another layout done, though a rather simple one. This is when the boy and the girl land together in that embraced position and the camera is just looking up to the boy before we hear the Master enter.

yea ben this one is really nice dude keep this level up like the texture as well
Nice painting though shouldn't we wait until the storyboard has been fully complete first before drawing out and painting any layouts?
Would be useful to spend this time before we get back to uni on working on a style for layouts. I like the textured look, maybe you could increment traditional Chinese painting techniques into it as well, with design and style.
The storyboard is pretty much done in terms of the camera angle and we dont really need to change any of the story so I guess we can call it done. I'll have a check with Parr but I dont think we'll have much to change so Im trying to get ahead with the layouts as the sheer numbers of it worries me a bit :P
Yeah, I was going to try get some of those wispy clouds in there and do them stylishly. Also planning to try some brush-pen looking lines on some of it. We can always go back into the layouts and rework these ideas into them, it wont be a problem.
