Well, I said I may rework it but I didnt think it would be this quickly. Something really bugged me about the painting and after a bit of brainstorming I decided on changing a few things. Actually, I think I might rework this again because I forgot to try another idea I had on it.
Lemme know which version u prefer.

I have to say as things stand at te moment I prefer the previous one a it seems to have a more obvious light source than the newer one by a bit. Thumb nailing the layouts in simple 3-4 tones first really helps with securing a light source. I think it could really help your layouts

Ah, about the tone thingy. Ive been looking at a few screenshots of other animated films and noted that the form on the background doesnt stand out that much, so I thought flattening it out a bit looked better to hold the characters in.
