Here is the latest version of the storyboard. Any other thing we can improve about it? Now some of us r off to Annecy for just over a week. So, I'll see you all soon (or later)!
Researching the layout side of things. Im getting the hang of these a bit better so I'll get back to storyboarding. Not many big changes but its taking a while to complete. Take care guys!
Some suggestions I made for the pitch. Feel free to bring varied ideas here, it will be good to have a nice diversity to choose from. I'll get those character bios to you all soon. Im currently working on the storyboard, will get that to you once its done. However Im on a Chinese computer and I cant read!!! So making my way around is a bit slow, also Im not used to the Windows Vista layout on top of that! Hope youre all having a great time. Dont play Smash Bros too much now :P
Yo team, especially layout department, I found these awesome photos online and thought they would be very inspirational for our film. The way they are captures gives an impression of the landscape being very rounded and uneven, just looks nice, great mood too!
Heres the animatic produced for the pitch stage. Changes and improvements are being looked into. The main point we can improve on is the camera angles. Theres a few straight on shots that could be more dynamic.
Welcome everyone! I intend to document our progress of making an animated short here, this blog could play an important role for the pre-production stage where some of us will not be around to speak to each other in person. Feel free to post ideas and work as well as posting feedbacks. I look forward in working with you all! "Go Team!"
A student film from the Arts Institute at Bournemouth's Animation Production course. This blog documents our journey and process as well as helping us to keep communication in the team. So no one is left in the dark!
